About the Journal

About the Journal

Digital Health & AI is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by EpiSmart Science Vector, dedicated to advancing trustworthy, equitable, and clinically meaningful innovation at the intersection of digital technologies and artificial intelligence. The journal provides a rigorous forum for original research, methodological advances, implementation studies, and scholarly reviews across clinical care, public health, and consumer wellness. We prioritize studies that demonstrate reproducibility, real-world impact, and transparent reporting.

Scope includes algorithm development and validation; multimodal data integration across electronic health records, imaging, genomics, sensors, and social determinants; evaluation of bias, fairness, robustness, and generalizability; privacy-preserving analytics; human factors and workflow design; health-economic and regulatory science; and lifecycle governance, MLOps, and post-deployment monitoring. We welcome prospective and retrospective investigations, negative or null results, registered reports, and high-quality datasets and benchmarks with clear documentation.

Editorial decisions are grounded in independent expert peer review, statistical and methodological assessment, and strict policies on research ethics, data protection, and conflicts of interest. Authors are encouraged to share code, data, and protocols when permissible, enabling verification and reuse. Transparent declarations, preregistration, and adherence to domain-appropriate reporting standards are expected.

Digital Health & AI is published in sequence as numbered volumes and issues to ensure a citable, durable scholarly record. Accepted articles benefit from early online release followed by inclusion in the next scheduled issue. Each article receives a DOI and long-term archiving. To support broad dissemination, the journal welcomes interdisciplinary submissions from clinicians, data scientists, engineers, social scientists, and policy makers, with attention to diverse populations and settings worldwide. We publish tutorials and viewpoints guiding emerging best practices.

Our mission is to connect robust evidence with practical implementation, accelerating safe, effective, and inclusive digital health powered by AI. We invite the community to submit, review, and collaborate to shape a responsible future for healthcare.
